Updating from older studio/platform version

I’m on older studio v6.6.2 and platform v6.3.6.

After a long time, I’m finally looking at updating to the latest version of studio and Cuba platform but I’m not sure of potential issues. Much appreciate for any advise / sharing, and if there is any way to upgrade to the latest version.

Hi,
Latest versions of the CUBA Studio fully support only projects starting from CUBA platform 6.10 or later.
So I would recommend you to perform migration in two steps:

  1. Download last released version of the web-based Studio 6.10.3 from here:
    Previous CUBA Studio Releases – CUBA Platform

Use it to migrate your project to CUBA 6.10.
Make project compile and start successfully.

  1. Then install the latest available version of the CUBA Studio (now it’s 13.2).

Open project in this IDE and migrate your project from CUBA 6.10 to the latest CUBA platform (7.2.x).
