I need to use diacritics in my reports. I generate the reports using a html template and generate PDF files. When I generate HTML -> PDF diacritics are lost, ex: răsărit prints rsrit when I generate HTML -> HTML diacritics are OK

Pay attention to the config reporting.fontsDir, you need to set the fonts path.
