Studio update to 6.6.1

In Studio 6.6.0 appears the message to upgrade to 6.6.1. The update runs ok and the new version appears in the Help/About menu.

But, after a complete shutdown of Studio, then the update message appears again. If I dismiss it and go to the Help/About menu, it says 6.6.0 again, as if the update was never made.

Am I doing the update the right way ? Is there a problem ?

Thanks,

Alejandro

BTW, I’m running Studio in Ubuntu 16.04.

Hi, Alejandro

Unfortunately we can’t reproduce the issue.
Could you please check if .haulmont/studio/update/6.6/01 folder exists in your home directory?

Also studio logs would be helpful to investgate the problem (located in .haulmont/studio/logs/)

Yes, .haulmont/studio/update/6.6/01 is present, some 47 MB total.

The log says:

2017-08-31 15:10:11,552 INFO [com.haulmont.studio.backend.x.a] Installing update
2017-08-31 15:10:12,194 INFO [com.haulmont.studio.backend.x.a] Restarting Studio

But some time after that

2017-08-31 15:58:10,840 INFO [com.haulmont.studio.server.g] CUBA Studio v.6.6.0 built on 2017-07-28 14:32:25

studio.log (49.2K)

It seems to be some issue with studio start script. It is being executed correctly during restart after update install, but manual start is not correct for some reason.
How do you start studio after shutdown?

For sure, downloading fresh distributive of studio-6.6.1 is good option, while you experiencing some problems with automatic update.

I start Studio manually. Ok, no problem, I will download latest version.

Alejandro

Could you please describe in details how do you perform manual start? Which command is used in terminal?
We trying to reproduce the issue, so that information could help.

Thanks in advance,
Alexander
