I have been reviewing this component in vaadin and it would be interesting to have something like this in Cuba, especially to give more functionality to the vertical menu, such as to be able to hide or drive at the user’s will.

Thank you for the idea. Currently, we are not planning to include this add-on to the platform. You can use this add-on right now in your project, just integrate it using our Vaadin component integration guide: Using a Third-party Vaadin Component - CUBA Platform. Developer’s Manual
