Right click not woking on the Hierarchy panel

Hi, I am starting to play with Cuba Studio, I downloaded the 2018.3 (Intellij Version) and I am running it on OSX High Sierra, 10.13.6
I am going through the quick start videos, created the data loader and table for the customer-edit screen, it all goes well until I need to right click any element on the hierarchy panel.
Right click works on the left pane though. I can for example right-click on customer-edit.xml or any of its parents and right click-new-screen
Right click also works on the Palette and Properties panels.

Hi,

Unfortunately we can’t reproduce the issue.

Does the right click on the Palette and Properties panels show Refresh and Zoom controls?
Does it work for the components in the Layout Designer? Small toolbar should appear with round buttons and component size.

Hi Alexander, thank you very much for your kind and prompt reply.
Right click shows the Refresh and Zoom controls on both Properties and Palette. This menu also works if I click on the top window bar for Layout Designer and Hierarchies. I can send you a screenshot if needed.

It does not work inside the Layout Designer nor Hierarchies.

This is not a show stopper for me, I can work around this but thought it was worth letting you guys know.

We’ll try to investigate the issue.

Could you please attach log file: <user_home>/Library/Logs/CubaStudio2018.3/idea.log (idea1.log etc…)?
How do you perform the “right click”? Is it a literally right click on the mouse device, Control + Click, or two-finger click on the TrackPad?

This is really funny. Two fingers work everywhere, ctrl+click fails on the hierarchy pane.
I do not have a mouse anywhere near me, I can not check that. Here is my log file.

That helped a lot, thanks.
Studio doesn’t handle control + click correctly in this cases.

The YouTrack issue created. Will be fixed in one of the next releases.

I am glad it helped. I am really impressed with the tool and this was minor issue as I was able to do the wrap in the xml file.
