Quick start video is different from studio

Hi,

I’m new to CUBA.platform, so I try to learn it following the teaching videos. It seems that the videos are different from the Studio so it is very difficult to learn CUBA.platform this way.

For example in the Quick Start video there is a folder “Data Model” in Project tree, but I don’t have such a folder. I found the folder video is speaking about under modules/global/com.company…/entity folder.

Or in this video there is “Text” and “Designer” tabs for the “speaker-browse.xml” file, but I don’t have tabs at all for this file, so I can’t design it visually.

Such things makes it very difficult to learn CUBA.platform, it is very hard to follow the videos and understand what the video shows and speaker says.

Are there videos for the current edition of the Studio? Or how to solve these problems?
I downloaded the Studio today.

Seems you have not missed one step and didn’t accept trial subscription.

Hi,

Yes, there is a slight difference between Studio versions in the QuickStart and the latest CUBA Studio. We’re creating a new video now and it will be available during the next couple of weeks.

Please note that the existing video is still valid, we have regrouped UI conponents to make project creation simpler.

As for your questions:

Please switch to CUBA project view in the project tree.
