Pentaho BI Community edition support

As CUBA-FRAMEWORK uses many free resources e.g. Vaadin, AmCharts etc. I was expecting in case of BI integration it will be Community edition but unfortunately it seems to me not the case! If I am missing something here please clarify. Otherwise, is there any possibility supporting Pentaho Community edition?

Wouldn’t you just connect Pentaho to the back-end database via jdbc?

We’re unable to connect DB with Pentaho using JDBC. Can I have a reference on how to connect?

We released BI addon 1.2.1 with the Pentaho Community Edition and Saiku OLAP viewer. BI addon is compatible with the CUBA 6.6 version. You can find more in the documentation: CUBA Platform. BI Tools Integration
