If a report has multiple templates, one gets option to choose template in a dropdown when running report from ‘Run Reports’ menu option. But when editing the report from ‘Reports’ menu and hitting ‘Run’ there is no option to choose template and it blindly uses the default template.
This is problem when creating a new template and one wants to test that. Current workaround is to change default template for time being but problem is if someone runs that report in parallel from other browser/system
