By default, files with extension defined in the cuba.web.viewFileExtensions property is displayed in the browser instead of downloading.
By default, Safari blocks any pop-up windows (and, unlike other browsers, does not report a blocked window). This is the reason why you don’t see your reports.
So, to fix this issue you can either exclude html and pdf files from a list of file extensions displayed in the browser or allow pop-up windows in Safari.
