IMAP app Component connection problem

I am trying to use IMAP add-on and having difficulty in connecting to my gmail. I have done as follows:

Activated IMAP in my gmail account

Create IMAP config as follows. Verified the password that is correct.

Now when I click on Connect button, it fails to connect. I have not used any certificate though.
How can I diagnose what is going on and how to fix it? Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Try to set imap.server.trustAllCertificates = true
in Application Properties -> imap -> server

Is there any way to connect gmail without compromising the security level?
