Icon display bug in the new login screen

Trying a bit of the improvements added in v7.2 I found this: In the new login screen the user and password icons are not aligned correctly in the HALO and HOVER themes with HAVANA looks good.
My development environment; IntelliJ Ultimate 2019.3.3, KDE Neon 5.18 browsers tested Chrome 80.0.3987.122, Firefox 73.0.1 and Opera 66.0.3515.103

Thank you for reporting a problem, we have already created an issue for this behavior, see Studio issue.

As a workaround, in web/VAADIN/brand-login-screen/login.css you can simply replace selectors:

.v-caption-c-login-field.v-caption-inline-icon span.v-icon {
...
}

with:

.v-slot-inline-icon .v-caption-c-login-field.v-caption-inline-icon span.v-icon {
   ...
}
