Is there a way to be able to set the caption for the properties inside the filter table?
That is: If I set the caption to Order# in the property, how can I make it appear in the filter Properties table, and not just after selection of the property?

that’s a bug - see the related issue. The add condition dialog should display the captions specified in the xml. Thanks for reporting.
