Hi Guys,

I have created a group called “salespeople”. I have created a default role of “deny all” and then another role of “salespeople”.

How do I give salespeople the permission to Edit an entity through the standard edit screen? Can’t seem to figure it out. Every time i click on edit when logged in as a salesperson it gives “Access Denied” error despite giving permission (i thought) to be able to edit the entity…

Hi Daryn,

The access rights are calculated using the OR logic, so, if a user has two roles, and one allows an action while another one prohibits it, the action will be allowed.

Please see on the screenshots attached how to configure the salespeople role to give it access for the Customer entity’s edit screen.
