The existing users got names automatically generated on the basis of the previous logins. If you want to change your name on the new forum, you can do it in your account preferences during the next month. After that, changing of names will be blocked, and new users will have only 3 days to change their mind. The restriction on changing user names is imposed for stability of
@usermentions in topics and comments. -
Categories in the old forum became tags in the new one. You can use the tags when creating new topics. We are working on moving tags for migrated topics, they will be restored soon.
