I’m trying to use this functionality as well, setting database params from env variables. Using studio 7.2.10 and it’s not working as intended. Just wondering if this is still an outstanding issue?

This functionality has been implemented in Studio 15.0, take a look at release notes: CUBA Studio User Guide
“7.2.10” isn’t Studio version. It is CUBA platform version. See CUBA → Welcome screen for all versions in your project.

Unfortunately, upgrading to 15.0 didn’t fix the issue for me:
Not sure if OS matters? Not working for me on mac os or alpine linux deployed on docker.
It should work on all OS.
